General Info

Tucked along 502 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87505, Bo's Authentic Thai feels like the kind of Thai restaurant you stumble upon once and then keep returning to. The location is convenient, yet it still carries the relaxed neighborhood vibe that makes dining here feel easy and welcoming. From the moment you look over the menu, it’s clear that the kitchen focuses on classic Thai flavors prepared with care and balance.

On my first visit, I started with the Spring Rolls, which arrived crisp and light, with a satisfying crunch that paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. They’re a simple appetizer, but when done right they set the tone for the entire meal. Next came a bowl of Tom Yum, and the aroma alone hinted at the layers of flavor waiting inside. The soup had that signature Thai balance-tangy, spicy, and deeply comforting all at once. If you prefer something creamier, the Tom Kha Soup is another standout. The coconut base brings warmth and smoothness, making each spoonful rich without feeling heavy.

Many regulars talk about the Pineapple Curry, and after trying it, it’s easy to see why it gets such good reviews. The sweetness of pineapple blends beautifully with the savory curry spices, creating a dish that feels both vibrant and satisfying. Another favorite on the menu is the Thai Basil Stir Fry, a dish that delivers bold aroma and a punch of flavor. The basil fragrance hits first, followed by savory notes that make it one of those plates you keep going back to between bites of rice.

Beyond the food, the overall experience at Bo's Authentic Thai feels comfortable and casual. The restaurant has a trendy yet relaxed atmosphere, making it a pleasant stop whether you're grabbing lunch or meeting friends for a laid-back meal. Families will appreciate that the space is good for kids, while the friendly service makes everyone feel welcome.

Convenience also plays a big role here. If you’re not dining in, delivery service makes it easy to enjoy the same dishes at home. Paying is simple too, with credit cards accepted, which adds to the overall smooth experience.

Bo's Authentic Thai stands out as a reliable spot for flavorful Thai cuisine in Santa Fe. Between its inviting location, thoughtfully prepared menu, and consistently positive reviews from locals, it’s the kind of place where good food and a comfortable dining experience naturally come together.

What customers say?

“ Let me start by saying that authentic they really are. I am truly pleasantly surprised by how delicious and satisfying their food is. I only had their Pad See Ew and dessert Mango and Sticky Rice this time. I’m already looking forward to going back there and ordering their curry or Pad Thai. Their service was friendly and efficient. It is a food truck and it’s basically takeout only since there’s really no seating area of their own. There are a few tables and picnic tables nearby if you wish to eat there. ”

“ This is some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had, not just in Santa Fe, but in the entire U.S. I’ve tried several dishes here, including items from their special menu, and every meal has been fantastic. The service is excellent, and the food always hits the spot. If you get the chance, be sure to try their special menu as it’s always authentic and full of flavor. ”

“ We are from Texas and came to visit the famous staircase at one of the churches found here in Santa Fe. We are big lovers of Thai food, so decided to give it a shot! Thai tea - a little more on the sweeter end. For those who love sweet, this is for you! The puff potato - 5/5 were amazingly delicious! Fluffy, crunch, but still so soft from the filling and full of flavor. Drunken noodles - we ordered medium in spice level. I LOVE spicy but agreed with my husband that the medium was perfect to both enjoy a good kick and the flavor. Service - it was good but taking away a star since we asked to get a combination of beef and shrimp (we were charged for it) but was delivered without the shrimp. When approached, they did own the mistake and sincerely apologized but was a little sad with them only adding 3 shrimps total. Would we be back? Yes! Try other stuff on their menu. Good food if you are traveling up and down their downtown area. ”

“ Best Thai food truck! Had the yellow curry & it was Deliciousssssss ! This is part of a larger food truck with many other options to choose from and it is a pretty often frequent area for kids getting out of school for groups, tourist and it’s right on the corner across from the Capitol building so it is super super convenient!! ”

“ The food is pretty good. I ordered spring rolls and Pad Thai chicken, spicy. The woman taking the order looked at me skeptically, understandable, given I'm an older white guy. So after my (mild) food arrived, I added some heat from the spice tray, and all was good The truck is one of a group of food trucks near a shaded gravel area with picnic tables. The service is place your order, wait for your name to be called and go pick it up (though I did see the proprietor carry an order out to a larger group in the gravel area). The sitting area was clean, with a good amount of shade. I was comfortable despite the 85F (30C) temperature. ”

“ Food is incredible and wait time is impeccable. I’ve always gotten my order within 10 minutes of placing an order. Food is super fresh, always delicious, & fairly affordable for a quick, veggie-forward, nutritious lunch in Santa Fe (which is a lot to ask in this town). I’m not sure what on the menu is actually vegetarian, as I’m pretty sure there’s fish sauce in most things. Would be awesome to see a vegetarian indicator on the menu.. But I’m not the strictest of vegetarians & typically don’t question it. Would recommend the tofu pad Thai & the tofu green curry. I’ve also had the spring rolls & tom yum and can highly recommend those as well! Grateful that Bo’s is so centrally located downtown, quick, affordable, & delicious! ”

“ The best Thai food in Santa Fe and a terrific option for vegans and vegetarians. I always order one of the curries. I think they do a wonderful job with the green and red. My only criticism is sometimes with the curries I feel I’m given a smaller portion of tofu than usual. I’m also not a huge fan of the iced coffee—it is incredibly sweet. The mango sticky rice on the other hand is very well balanced! ”

“ Excellent, warm, and comforting curry. I felt like crap so I wanted a hot soupy dish to make myself feel better. The green curry brought me back to life. It was both hot(temp) and hot(spicy), but I did think it could be spicier. The fish cakes were really good too! It was all very worth the money. ”
